Yehudit
A triple threat. The Yehudit ring, in plated rose gold, elegantly clasps the finger with three gem-encrusted prongs, each set off with an iridescent pear-cut Siren opal.
Yehudit's story
More commonly known as Judith, Yehudit was the woman at the heart of the defeat of the Assyrian army. They wanted world domination, and Yehudit wanted to end the siege on her people which left them starving, thirsty and fractured. When hope was all but gone, she put on jewellery and dressed to kill. Using herself as bait she was brought to the invading general, Holofernes. She seduced him, got him drunk, and beheaded him in his own tent - with his own sword - surrounded by an army that until then had reigned victorious. She took his head back to inspire her people to keep fighting - a war they would now win.
Made with 925 sterling silver and lab-grown opal.
